UK TOP 10 FLAVOURS OF ICE CREAM

Here in the UK we LOVE ice cream. In fact, on average we eat 7 litres of ice cream per year and are the 10th biggest consumers of ice cream worldwide! So, it’s no surprise that the question of our favourite flavour has left the nation torn. But, the results are in…

1) Vanilla

Coming in at first place, we have arguably the most versatile flavour: Vanilla. You can’t really go wrong with this one, and it can be paired with all sorts of desserts. Our mouths are watering thinking of a vanilla mochi next to a nice warm brownie oooozing with chocolate.

2) Chocolate

This one’s a no-brainer – Europe takes all top 5 spots for the biggest consumers of chocolate worldwide, and the UK are the fourth biggest chocoholics! Here at Little Moons, we’ve listened, and brought you THREE chocolate-based flavours: Belgian Chocolate, Chocolate Hazelnut and Chocolate Ganache.

3) Strawberry

When we think of Strawberry ice cream, we think of summer. It’s delicate, refreshing, and perfectly fruity.

4) Mint Choc Chip

Cool mint contrasted with rich chocolate – an oldie but a goodie!

5) Salted Caramel

Smooth and sweet caramel, offset by a dash of saltiness to give that perfect sweet-savoury balance. Take a sweet escape with our very own Salted Caramel.

6) Rum and Raisin

Rest and Relaxation aren’t the only double R’s we can get behind, Rum and Raisin comes in at sixth with it’s punchy yet indulgent taste.

7) Pistachio

One of our long-standing best sellers, we weren’t surprised to see Pistachio on this list. At seventh, we aren’t the only ones nuts about this flavour!

8) Raspberry

Us Brits love an afternoon tea, and we can’t think of a better ice cream flavour to brighten up this staple occasion. Famed for it’s bite-sized dishes, why not add a bite-sized Raspberry Moon to the mix.

9) Coffee

Coffee is the third most consumed beverage in the world, on the tails of water and tea. Since we love to drink it, it makes sense we also love to eat it.

10) Cookie Dough

And to round us off, we have cookie dough – another chocolate chipped wonder!
